We meet weekly on Sunday mornings from 9-9:45 a.m. upstairs in the Welcome Room. Grab some coffee and a bagel and head up to join in the discussion! Beginning May 31st we’ll be reading and discussing The Red Tent by Anita Diamant.
We also meet one weekend of every month for an informal gathering. Here is a tentative list of the social events that will be held through August. I will make updates as neccessary. Feel free to weigh in with a fresh idea in the comments section!
Social Events:
July 4th: We’re going back to the Smith’s house for a BBQ, pool party and some fireworks to celebrate this national holiday! The party starts at 3:00 p.m. and ends after the fireworks are through!
August 8th: We’ll gather at a local park to have a picnic and play some games on the lawn!

The Class A Potomac Nationals are always a good idea, too. The season starts in April, it’s close, family and kid-friendly, and cheaper than the pros. You just have to be wary of foul balls, especially if you’re in the bleacher (cheap) seats.
Thanks, Shawn! Yeah we thought the Potomac Nationals might be a bit easier than the other Nationals (and they might actually win a game)!:o) I’m gonna check out their schedule and see what we can do! Maybe this summer!
